Our Construction law department is focused on complex contract law beginning with the bidding process through the negotiations and the finalization of written agreements or contracts between the parties. This area inevitably can involve post-contract/agreement disputes that may arise.
When parties enter into a contract, both are required by law to act in good faith in performance of the contractual duties. Construction law governs disputes that may arise between parties during the construction process. This can involve many different businesses (General Contractors, Sub Contractors, Architects and Engineers) that are part of the construction industry and a vast array of regulations and laws. Black & Wadhams represents clients in both private and public works projects.
Our team of attorneys has a depth of expertise in bidding, negotiation, contract and agreement creation, and contract and agreement review. Additionally, Black & Wadhams has extensive experience in mediation, arbitration and litigation through trial and appeal, if needed.
Black & Wadhams’ goal is to help mitigate risk to our clients, and our broad practice of law gives us the knowledge and know-how to successfully advocate on our clients’ behalf in whatever format or stage of the construction process.
