Tisha Black is a Founding Partner at Black & Wadhams.
Tisha Black is a native of Las Vegas and has practiced law for nearly 30 years, focusing primarily on real estate and business legal issues including corporate structuring, regulatory compliance, finance, real property entitlements and development, business licensing, acquisitions, complex commercial transactions, landlord tenant issues, and cannabis law. Tisha uses her decades of experience and legal acumen to serve as a trusted business partner to her clients. She has owned and operated her own law firm since 2000 and has always focused her practice on the legal needs of business owners and real estate.
Having over 25 years of practice in exclusively business law and business practice, Ms. Black’s clients range from established large- and small-scale businesses to start-up companies. She has experience spanning from the acquisition, construction and development of small, planned communities, shopping centers and buildings to commercial and residential landlord tenant relations. She has extensive experience in negotiations and documentation of credit facilities as well as real estate loan workouts, foreclosures, receiverships and guarantee enforcement. She is frequently recognized as a leader in her field by her peers and clients for her commitment to quality service and client centered service.
Ms. Black has been an active participant and attorney in the Nevada cannabis industry since 2014. She has been, and continues to be, active in the Nevada State Medical and Recreational Cannabis Program and participates in the legislative process. Ms. Black successfully filed applications with the state of Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Massachusetts, Louisiana and Missouri for dispensaries, cultivation and production. Her cannabis practice includes licensing, establishment, financing, compliance, finance and ongoing operations.

She was a contributor to Nevada’s CBS affiliate KLAS for their Peabody award winning series Desert Under Water in 2008.
