Robert Sparks is a third-generation Las Vegas native with family roots dating back to 1933. During his more than 32 years as a licensed Nevada attorney, he has developed a uniquely diverse skill set, having actively practiced in multiple disciplines including business and real estate transactions and disputes; insurance defense/business litigation; corporate governance, management, structuring and operations; mergers and acquisitions; commercial real estate investment and management; complex distressed business and commercial property restructure; employment law; and estate planning.
Mr. Sparks established a considerable reputation as an active southern Nevada civil litigator during his first 15 years of practice, serving clients in matters involving contract disputes, premises liability claims, construction defects, medical malpractice and personal injury. In 2007, he elected to expand his professional experience and relocated to San Diego where he served as both General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer for PBS’s Nightly Business Report, a start-up e-commerce company with a national broadcast television news component. From 2010 until 2020, Mr. Sparks remained in San Diego where he served as a Vice President and Corporate Counsel for a national commercial real estate management and investment company.
An experienced trial attorney, Mr. Sparks has represented multi-national businesses and insurers and has served as primary premises liability counsel for several major Las Vegas casino-hotel companies. He has twice been named by Super Lawyers magazine as one of the top business litigation attorneys in Nevada.
