Villanueva has joined the team in the new Reno office located at 50 West Liberty Street, and she specializes in probate and trust matters as well as general estate planning and asset protection.
Villanueva is a native Nevadan and licensed to practice law in Nevada and the District of Columbia. She has worked on behalf of Fortune 500 companies, law enforcement and fire protection and teachers. Additionally, her experience includes:
• Representing plaintiffs in personal injury matters.
• Defending clients in breach of contract claims.
• Representing State employees in grievance hearings in front of Nevada’s Employee-Management Committee.

Villanueva has represented clients in district court in general civil litigation matters and matters involving the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and state employment practices under NRS 613.
Villanueva received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada, Reno and obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas William S. Boyd School of Law. She is a member of the Reno Planning Commission, and her professional affiliations include:
