About Sasha Araujo Hernandez

Sasha Araujo Hernandez is a proud Las Vegas native with family roots in the Las Vegas Valley dating back to the 1960s.
Sasha graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. She became interested in the legal field after having taken a philosophy course concentrating on law and justice. After graduating, she joined Black & Wadhams in an administrative role while awaiting the results of her applications to law school.
Sasha received her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law. There, she served on the committees of many of CWSL’s student organizations, such as the Latinx Law Student Association, Immigration Law Society, and the Women’s Law Caucus. She honed her research, outreach, and writing skills and received exceptional advocacy experience as an extern at an immigration law firm in San Diego, where she, as a student under attorney supervision, represented clients in asylum, deportation, and U-Visa as well as VAWA petition proceedings.
Sasha has served Black & Wadhams as a law clerk since 2021 and has experience in business litigation, personal injury, and real estate transactions.
Sasha recently sat for the February 2024 Nevada Bar and is awaiting results. Her areas of interest include business law, cannabis law, general and civil litigation, and personal injury.
